Tryout Clinic (REVISED 3/15/26)

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be posting tryout videos on Sunday, March 22nd for athletes to get a head start in advance of the tryout clinic.  We will only be having one day for Tryout Clinics; however we will have one final group run through prior to actual tryouts on March 25th.

IMPORTANT DATES AND SEASON DETAILS​

Uniform Fitting (*Mandatory for new athletes*)

• April 2, 2026 at 6:00 pm

• Location: Mabry Park. 

 

A Varsity representative will also be present to assist with uniform fittings and to take payment.  Please note that payment is due at the fitting and payable directly to Varsity.

 

UCA Camp (*Mandatory*) 

• Pre-UCA Camp Practice - TBD

• Overnight Choreography Camp at KSU, June 4-6

 

Camp Lassiter Cheer Camp (*Mandatory*) 

• June 15-18

• Location:  Lassiter High School (New Gym)

Sideline Practice Clinic

• Early August (before school begins)

• Date/Time/Location TBD

Sidelines practice at Lassiter High School 

• Thursdays 6:00pm - 8:00pm 

• August 6 - October 29

• No practice: LHS Open House (exact date TBA), September 24 (Fall Break)

 

Football Season - Games are held on Saturdays. The season usually starts mid to late August and can potentially run into November (if a team makes the playoffs). The girls are REQUIRED to attend all games. The football program sets the schedule for the season, and we usually do not receive information until mid August.  Please plan to cheer throughout November.  Our football teams consistently make the playoffs.

Please note there WILL be games Labor Day weekend (Sept 5th) and the first Saturday of Fall Break (Sept 19)

​

Basketball Season - Season runs November to February. Games are held on Sundays and we only cheer home games at LHS.  We will have a special Basketball (All Grade) Squad for those who want to participate in cheering basketball in preparation for High School Cheer. When we receive the basketball schedules we will send out the dates.

End of Season Banquet - Normally scheduled on a Saturday in January or February.
